In 2024, 308,682 people were baptized into the LDS Church — a 22.6% increase from 2023 and the highest convert total in 27 years. The missionary force grew by 9%, but each missionary was more productive: 4.16 baptisms per missionary, the highest rate since 2012.
Every world region contributed to the increase. These are people who heard the message and chose to join. The figures were confirmed independently by the Salt Lake Tribune. (Church-reported statistical data.)
