Active LDS Men: 40% Lower Early Mortality

40% less chance of dying early

UCLA's longitudinal study of active LDS members in California found that active LDS men had a 40% lower chance of dying early compared to the general population.

The protective effect was observed across multiple causes of death and is consistent with other LDS health findings including longevity (+9.8 years) and cancer reduction (24% lower overall).
