While Gen Z Leaves Religion at Record Rates, LDS Gen Z Attends at 60%+

68% of LDS under 45 say religion very important. 60%+ attend weekly vs 22% non-LDS peers.

Gen Z is the least religious generation in American history. Among LDS Gen Z and millennials, the pattern reverses: 68% of LDS members under 45 say religion is very important and over 60% attend church weekly — compared to 22% of non-LDS peers.

LDS retention among younger members is outperforming every other major Christian denomination on this metric. The rest of Christianity is watching its youngest generation exit. LDS is the outlier.
