The LDS Church now has 382 temples worldwide — 202 fully dedicated, the remainder under construction or announced. Under President Russell M. Nelson (2018-2024), 153 temples were announced or dedicated — 46% of all temples that have ever existed.
More temples were added in that single six-year period than in all prior Church history combined. Temples are the highest expression of LDS worship: where families are sealed for eternity and sacred covenants are made. (Church-reported figures.)
